He wiped the tears forming in the corner of his eyes. Why did it seem like no one could understand him? It just wasn’t fair he wished people would realize something WAS going on with Gilbert instead of just taking his side.

In knowing that was Gilbert’s response left the noirette feeling a little uneasy as he thought they would have worked it out with the two of them being so close.
